While the purpose of this game is to have fun, we have some ground rules for everyone to follow. The game is played in third person role-plays in the role-play community, and in first person conversations through the journals. Read the rules before applying, and make sure to adhere to them during the game.
RULES:
1. You must be 18 years or older to join. This is stringently enforced - if we find out that a player is younger than 18, he or she will be booted from the game, no questions asked.
2. All characters must be characters from Disney animated or Disney/Pixar animated films, or animated Disney television show. Keyword, of course, is animated.
3. No power-playing, unless it is absolutely necessary or it is previously approved by another character. For instance, if your character knocks another character unconcious, or if they do something to them in their sleep, make sure this is mutually agreed upon by both players.
4. Any major plots involving your characters (pregnancy, abortion, marriage, serious illness, long departure, etc.) must be cleared by a moderator. If this major plot involves another character, make sure the other player also agrees with this plot.
5. Two characters per player to start, unless approved by a moderator. After you've played for a few weeks, we will let you apply for more characters.
6. One action post AND one journal post per character every fourteen days (that's every two weeks). The mods will do periodic sweeps, and we'll usually give a warning, but we may sweep inactive characters without warning.
7. Action threads should be in the third-person, journal threads in the first-person.
8. Keep your posts short and simple - no one likes to read novels, and shorter entries get plot moving faster.
9. Each action thread must have a rating. That being said, if you don't like graphic sex, don't read those threads - each thread will have been labeled with a rating. Many characters will have sexual interactions, but if your characters do not, that is fine, too.
10. Emails should be posted in the personal journals, placed under an lj-cut, and reply emails should be written as a reply comment to the original thread - this keeps things from getting clogged up.
11. Instant message conversations between characters should be posted in the action community.
12. If you'll be gone for an extended period of time (longer than a week), just make a quick post in the OOC community about it or tell a moderator.
13. Out of Character posts go in the OOC community.
14. Please try to use proper spelling and grammar. I'm just a grammar nazi and find bad grammar to be obnoxious. DEFINITELY spell DEFINITELY as DEFINITELY (not definAtely).
15. Play nice! This is just a game, after all.
16. The mods have the right to change the rules at any time and to boot a player at any time without prior warning (though warning will usually be given).
PB restrictions
What is a PB? A PB is a played-by, or the celebrity that you will be using to represent your character in the game. Icons should be mostly of your PB's face, with some exceptions (pets, sex icons, etc.) Default, however, should be a clear, color picture of your PB.
1. No scene stars or myspace celebrities for your PB without prior mod approval! That being said, we'll allow it if it makes sense for your character.
2. Overexposed celebrities, like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Jessica/Ashlee Simpson, and more of that crowd, are banned. If you think your PB would be banned, ask us if you can use him/her.
3. Try to use age-appropriate PBs. George Clooney does not look like he would currently be a university student.
4. Models are allowed, but make sure that they aren't expressionless. We like variety in the icons!
5. No WB Harry Potter actors as your PB - they're just so overused.
Remember, if you have any questions or concerns, just ask the mods - we're really friendly and are willing to help anyone!
